When did you start playing hockey, and why?
I started when I was 8 years old because a friend invited me to play and I have loved the game since.

Who was the greatest influence on your hockey career, and why?
My coaches are my greatest influence and, when I was younger, an older player that was my idol, who helped me with training and gave me good advice.

What was the highlight of your hockey career?
To earn the right to play for Mexico. Further, to be able to play in Germany with a successful Club, playing the EuroCup where I scored 8 goals in Indoor Hockey.

And the lowest point?
2000, I was very young and I was disappointed with everything.

Is there a team that you find especially hard to play against?
All teams are difficult, we must prepare to play every team in the same way.  If we believe in ourselves, there is nothing that cannot be accomplished.

Who is the player you most admire?
The player who helped me start; he guided me in my development, also he has shown me that after sport we need to transfer our skills from being an athlete to the professional career?

What do you like most about hockey and what frustrates you the most?
I like to play and to win. Losing is what frustrates me most.

If you could change one thing about hockey, what would it be?
Nothing, this is the game I have passion for!

What do you get out of competing at this high level?
Learning and transmitting my knowledge and international experience to other players.

What do you do during tournaments to relax?
Be happy, and thankful with the experience, otherwise we can not relax. I sing.

What are your plans after you finish competing at this level?
To find work, have a place to live and be happy.

What is one piece of advice you would give to young players?
Never give up, believe in yourself. And never lose hope!

If you had a chance to do anything you like, what would it be?
Be healthy and happy with my family and friends.
